New Protocol for Tornado Siren Testing

Fran Hamilton, Director Chattooga County E-911 announced as of May 2, 2018 all tornado sirens in Chattooga County will be testing at the same time of the month each month. The protocol is as follows:

All sirens within Summerville, Trion, Lyerly and Menlo will be tested the first Wednesday of each month at 12 p.m. If there is inclement weather the test will be postponed until the second Wednesday of the month or onto the next Wednesday without inclement weather.
