The Chattanooga Police Department released a statement on Facebook saying they have responded to four suspected drug overdose deaths in the 24-hours of June 10 – 11, 2019.

Toxicology screens are pending, but through investigation officers have determined the four deaths involve the use of illicit drugs. The number of overdose deaths in a short period of time is indicative of extremely dangerous drugs being sold and used. The picture below is of drugs found at one of the incident locations.

If you or someone you know purchases/uses drugs please be mindful of this warning. If you witness an overdose call 911 immediately and do not leave the person alone until EMS or police arrive.
