On Wednesday, Calhoun standout Landon Rice got himself a little bit closer to playing football on The Plains next season.
The four-star tight end prospect put ink to paper on his financial-aid agreement with Auburn University, according to Calhoun Schools, and Rice’s father Joey via social media.
With a letter of intent, and financial aid documents signed, Rice is now bound to Auburn University, and its football program.
He is rated as the No. 8 tight end in the nation by ESPN, and the No. 25 overall college prospect in the State of Georgia overall.
