Let Us Bow and Appeal to Heaven

The Chattooga County National Day of prayer will be observed at 7pm Thursday, May 5th at the Chattooga County Civic Center.

All public is invited to join in praying with Chattooga County pastors and community leaders for our community, state and nation. Given the current state of political turmoil, ‘bathroom bills’, ISIS, our education system, national debt, personal debt, a the endless list of reasons, now is the time for Chattooga County to come together and appeal to heaven.

Jared Pickard the Pastor at Connect City Church in Summerville commented, “the National Day of Prayer gathering is to me the single most encouraging, yet critical event that happens in our County on an annual basis.  It’s encouraging because we’re seeing a growing desire and passion for churches to put aside denominational differences (that many times are of no eternal value) and unify in the name of Jesus with one goal in mind.  This event is critical because that goal is actually a matter of obedience.  God’s word consistently put’s a responsibility on His children to come together, stand in the gap, and beg their Father to heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
