For the first time in 13 months the City of Menlo is set to hold a public meeting to conduct city business.

Items on the agenda include:

  • oath of office for Allen Keen, Patti Settoon, and John Vanhorn
  • ordinance for beer/wine sales in city limits
  • locating City Hall to new building on Highway 48
  • zoning and preservation ordinance

The zoning and preservation ordinance discussion stems from the demolition of the Edna Perry house by the Menlo First Baptist Church. The home, owned by the Church, was demolished Monday morning at 8am to make room for growth the church is anticipating.
