Gov. Kemp and Commissioner McMurry to Provide Update on I-16 Closure Following Bridge Accident

On Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., Governor Kemp and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Commissioner Russell McMurry will provide an update on the closure of Interstate 16 in Treutlen County.

All lanes, both east and westbound, were closed the morning of July 15 between Exits 71 and 78 following a tractor trailer accident involving the Georgia Highway 86 overpass.
