Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful Hosts Recycle Fest 2022 on January 8

Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful will be hosting Recycle Fest 2022 this Saturday, January 8, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. This event is free and will be held at Mill Creek Park near the back of the park, next to Splash in the Boro. Map below.

Six vendors will be on site to offer residents the opportunity to properly dispose of items in a safe and environmentally friendly way:

• Green Zone – Textile Recycling
• Greenrock/Boro Recycling – Household Glass, Plastics, and Metal Recycling
• Pittman Park United Methodist Church – Household Battery Recycling
• Georgia Power/Asplundh/Georgia Forestry Commission – Christmas Tree Recycling
• Ultra Shred Technologies – Paper Shred and Recycling
• Statesboro Police Department – Proper Medication Destruction
