The Joy of The Journey: Elevate Christ in 2024

The Joy of The Journey…

Elevate Christ in 2024

In this new year, as we start with a clean slate, let us pause and reflect on the wonderful grace and love our Lord Jesus Christ has given us as we embark on this journey of another year. Let our hearts be filled with a burning desire to elevate Christ in every aspect of our lives.

During the chaos and uncertainties that surround us, it is imperative that we fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We will only find hope, strength, and unwavering peace in Him. He is the anchor amidst the storms, the rock we stand firm on.

Let us not be consumed by the trivial pursuits of this world but rather strive to elevate Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions. If we are to see a move of God this year, we must surrender our ambitions, dreams, and desires at the feet of our Savior, allowing Him to guide our paths and shape our purpose. For in His wisdom and guidance, we find true fulfillment and eternal purpose.

In our relationships, let us mirror Christ’s love and compassion. Let us do as the scripture teaches us in the book of James to be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and eager to extend grace to those who have wronged us. Let our words be seasoned with kindness, and our actions reflect the heart of Christ as we strive to be vessels of His love in this broken world.

As we navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, let us remember that our lives are not our own. We have been bought with a price, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore, our true purpose is to bring glory and honor to His name.

In pursuing our goals and aspirations, let us not lose sight of the greatest calling – to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28) let us intentionally share the good news of Jesus Christ in our words and actions.   Let us be bold and unashamed, knowing that the power of salvation rests in the hands of our Savior.  Love is an action word!

Let our lives be a living testimony of God’s faith and love as the new year unfolds. Let the apostle Paul’s challenge in Romans be our desire, that we are transformed by renewing our minds, continually seeking to be conformed to the image of Christ, for it is in our surrender and submission to His will that we find true joy, peace, and abundant life.

So, let us elevate Christ in the new year, not just in the grand gestures but in the everyday routine of our lives. Let us be vessels of His love, instruments of His grace, and ambassadors of His truth. That our lives will be a reflection ofHis glory, shining brightly in the darkness.

In this new year, let us fix our eyes on Jesus and elevate Him above all else. For in Him, we find hope, purpose, and everlasting life.

Praying for an awesome new year!
