Get Ready to Shop: World’s Longest Yard Sale Kicks Off This Thursday!

The World’s Longest Yard Sale, also known as the 127 Yard Sale, will occur from Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th.

This event covers 690 miles across six states, starting at Noccalula Falls in Gadsden and passing through Cherokee County along the Lookout Mountain Parkway, including Alabama Highway 176 and County Road 89 in DeKalb County.

The sale continues through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio, ending in Addison, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to find various items such as pots, pans, puppies, tires, car parts, clothing, bicycles, exercise equipment, furniture, flatware, memories, and more.

It’s a scenic drive through some of the most beautiful countryside in the U.S., with the route featuring many unique attractions and events – not to mention miles and miles of great buys – and unlimited smiles. The World’s Longest Yard Sale

The 127 Yard Sale is commonly referred to as “The World’s Longest Yard Sale”. That’s because it really is the longest yard sale in the world. To be exact, it’s 690 miles long and the route travels through 6 states; Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. The majority of the route follows Highway 127 from Addison, MI in the north to Chattanooga, TN in the south. From Lookout Mountain, GA to Gadsden, AL the route switches to Lookout Mountain Parkway. Both are scenic drives allowing you to appreciate the beautiful countryside of these states all while enjoying the fun and excitement of The World’s Longest Yard Sale.
