Man Arrested in Country Store and Parker’s Armed Robberies

A joint investigation by the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office and the Statesboro Police Department has resulted in the arrest of 27 year old Quinton Wilson of Statesboro in reference to two recent armed robberies.

On June 26, BCSO deputies responded to The Country Store on Brannen Drive for an armed robbery. The suspect had robbed the store with a handgun and then fled on foot. SPD investigators have been working a similar case that occurred on July 4 at Parker’s Enzone.

The two agencies worked together and were able to develop information connecting Wilson with both armed robberies. He was located and arrested at an apartment complex on Chandler Road in Statesboro on July 5. A search of an apartment in the complex led to the discovery of additional evidence tying Wilson to the case.

Wilson has been charged for the Country Store robbery with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.  Additional charges were made by SPD in connection with the Parkers Enzone robbery.

From BCSO:
This case highlights the joint work that law enforcement agencies in Bulloch County do on a daily basis.  Criminals do not care about jurisdictional lines, and law enforcement agencies cannot either.  Joint cases like this remove dangerous offenders like Wilson, who has previously served time for a robbery according to the Georgia Dept of Corrections, from our community.
