Summer is here.
School has been out for a couple of weeks now and kids may already be getting bored at home, even though sleeping in and lounging around the house are still probably attractive options on any given day.
But, just maybe it gets old doing those things everyday and many parents certainly probably don’t want those options to become daily habits for their children, either.
What is there to do, though, to keep the kids occupied during the day in a fun, safe and overall healthy environment?
Well, plenty actually, and there are numerous summer camp offerings right here in the Golden Isles that feature all sorts of activities for kids.
All On Georgia will spotlight many of these camps over the coming weeks in hopes of keeping you abreast on what camps are taking place when here in Glynn County throughout the summer.
Perhaps, your kid might like to give one of them a try with your permission either this year or next if there is a reason to wait a year.
Today, AOG looks at the sports camps being offered by several schools, both private and public, in the county over the coming weeks.
