Sheriff Schrader releases incident report involving Chattooga County Sole Commissioner Andy Allen

Sheriff Schrader has released the incident report involving Chattooga County Sole Commissioner Andy Allen.

 

From Sheriff Schrader: Yesterday morning, shortly before 8 am, deputies were dispatched to Little Sand Mtn road regarding a dispute between two people. Deputies spoke with both individuals, William Wilson of KY, and Andy Allen of Summerville. Based on the allegations that were made and in the interest of transparency, I have asked Sheriff Steve Wilson of Walker County for assistance by having his office investigate the incident. Once this investigation is complete, more information may be released.

From the incident report:

On Monday March 3rd, 2025 at approximately 0712 hours Deputy Julian Smith (SO11) was dispatched to the area of 422 Little Sand Mountain Rd. in
reference to a physical domestic. While enroute Deputy Smith called me. He stated that he had called Chattooga County E 911 and received
information that the Chattooga County Commissioner, Andy Allen, may be involved in this incident and asked if I would go with him as I am the supervisor
on the shift.

Deputy Smith arrived before I did and spoke with both parties.

When I arrived on scene Deputy Smith filled me in on some of the details of the incident.

I then spoke with Mr. Wilson who advised that Mr. Allen opened his door and tried to jerk him out of the truck while he was backing up.
I spoke with the witness, Gabrielle Wilson, who advised that Mr. Allen began yelling and got out of his truck and walked to their truck, opened the door,
and began trying to jerk her husband out of the truck. She began recording.

Her video appeared to show Mr. Allen walking back to his truck and Mr. Wilson trying to get out of his truck. His wife was telling him to get back in the
truck so he did. Mr. Wilson did say he was going to call the law. In the video Mr. Allen can be heard yelling “the best thing you can do is get your ass
back in the truck and back on in there you understand me” and then Mr. Wilson says “I am gonna call the law.” Mr. Allen was yelling something back but
Mr. Wilson closed the door and I could not hear it. Mrs. Wilson also stated that she heard him say he was the commissioner and he ran things around here.

I asked if I could take pictures of the shirt and he gave it to me and advised I could take it.
