Hinesville Man Arrested in Glennville Shooting

On Friday, May 14, 2021, the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Quandaris Deonte Ford, 18, in Hinesville, GA. Ford has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During a Crime, and Violation of Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Ford will be booked into the Tattnall County Jail.

On April 22, 2021, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Glennville Police Department and the Tattnall County Sheriff’s office to assist with a shooting investigation. Preliminary information indicates a 15-year-old juvenile was shot at an apartment complex on Pecan Road. It appears the victim drove himself to a nearby convenience store where he went inside and collapsed.
