Downtown Statesboro Welcomes WhipItUp Engraving Studio

Downtown Statesboro is welcoming a new business, WhipItUp Engraving Studio.

Husband-and-wife business owners Chris and Julianna Clifton are bringing a unique blend of craftsmanship and creativity to downtown Statesboro with the opening of their first storefront for WhipItUp Engraving Studio, a custom engraving business specializing in personalized gifts, decor, and promotional items.

Previously operating through online platforms and custom orders, WhipItUp has grown steadily thanks to its diverse product offerings and dedication to customer service. The Cliftons are  now taking the next step by establishing a physical location that allows clients to engage directly with their products and services. They are located at 1827 Northside Dr. E, Statesboro, GA.

“We wanted to give people a space where they can come in, browse, and shop,” said the owner, Chris Clifton. “Opening a storefront close to downtown gives us the opportunity to better showcase our capabilities and connect with the community in a more meaningful way.”

At WhipItUp, they create unique and personalized products that make great gifts or additions to your home. Imagine sipping from custom drinkware at your next gathering, wearing stylish patch hats that turn heads, or decorating your space with elegant leather goods and eye-catching signage. WhipItUp’s advanced engraving technology lets them add detailed designs to anything from small items like logos to big projects like full-sized doors. In addition, they can engrave and cut a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, leather, glass, and metal.

Customers love the quality and artisanship of the products. One happy customer said, “Loved our new mugs!! It turned out super cute. My staff loved it too. WhipItUp does a great job!! If you haven’t asked them to create you a special item, DO IT NOW!! I promise you won’t regret it.”

WhipItUp combines technical precision with a creative, family-run business model. While the technical side of the business is handled by Chris, Julianna leads the creative direction. She manages the company’s social media presence, curate’s product design, and oversees the home decor line. “I focus on the machinery and design software, she handles the styling, business outreach, online content, and we both do the assembly. It’s a true partnership,” explained Clifton.

In addition to WhipItUp’s custom engraving services, they will offer paint and sip parties featuring custom wood signs that they create. These fun and interactive events allow you to personalize your wood sign while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with friends, guided by our professional instructors. It is a perfect activity for groups looking to enjoy a creative and memorable experience together.

As they prepare to welcome consumers into their new space, the couple emphasizes that much of their product line has been shaped by customers’ input. “We always encourage anybody to reach out with their ideas. A significant portion of our sales started with someone asking, ‘Can you do this?’ said Clifton.

With the opening of their first brick-and mortar location, WhipItUp Engraving Studio is not only expanding its operations but also strengthening its presence in the local small business community. The new retail store will allow shoppers to experience their ingenuity firsthand and explore a wide variety of customizable products made with care.
