SE Ga Road Work: Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory July 31- August 6

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, July 31 through Friday, August 6.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Traffic interruptions are listed below by interstates, categories, and counties.

Interstate 95

Camden County

Nightly Detour of Exit 7 southbound on-ramp

Interstate 16

Ramp closure for resurfacing asphalt shoulders

Nightly 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (one ramp closure at a time)

Fully signed detours installed nightly

Detour: proceed to next exit, cross over interchange,

opposite direction on I-16, for interchange access

Detour: Exit 4 Eastbound Traffic will use Exit 3 turning left onto Ogeechee Rd then left onto Tremont Rd.
