SE Ga Road Work: Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory October 4 – 8

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Monday, October 4 through Friday, October 8.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Traffic interruptions are listed below by interstates, categories, and counties.

Interstate 16 Interruptions

Bulloch, Bryan, Effingham and Chatham Counties

SR67 to I-95                          

Daily lane closures for pavement markings

From Milepost 126 to 142, 6am to 7pm & 7pm to 6am

 

I-16 Exits 143, 137, 132, 127, 152 

Ramp closure for pavement markings

Nightly 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (one ramp closure at a time)

Fully signed detours installed nightly

Detour: proceed to next exit, cross over interchange,

opposite direction on I-16, for interchange access
