SPD Makes Arrest in Statesboro Steam Academy Burglary

The Statesboro Police Department has arrested 17 year-old Christian Zyon Campbell for a burglary incident that occurred at Statesboro Steam Academy.

At approximately 1:30 Friday morning, SPD received a call about that unauthorized person was possibly inside Statesboro Steam Academy. Officers responded and began investigating.

SPD officers Winford Adams and Adam Paquette located Campbell as he was attempting to exit the building. He was taken into custody and found to have items from the school in his possession. A school administrator was notified and responded to the school.

Campbell was arrested and transported to the Bulloch County Jail to await further court action. He has been charged with 2nd degree burglary.
