The Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team recently concluded two narcotics investigations, resulting in the arrest of five people.
On August 11, investigators executed a search warrant in reference to crack cocaine being sold at a residence on Butler Street in Statesboro. Investigators located a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, and prescription medication. 39 year-old Dexter Raynard was arrested and charged with 3 counts of sale of cocaine, 1 count possession of cocaine, 1 count possession of marijuana, and possession of a dangerous drug.

On the same day, investigators executed a search warrant at 23 Carter Drive. Investigators located approximately 5 pounds of marijuana packaged for resale, 2 firearms, an AK47 rifle, and a large amount of cash. They also located a .40 caliber handgun that had been reported stolen in Bulloch County. Four individuals were arrested. Three small children were in the home and were turned over to family members.
