Statesboro Police Department’s Impact Team made two arrests Wednesday in a drug complaint investigation. Upon obtaining a warrant, quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, prescription pills, and marijuana were discovered. Otis Yaniel Flores-Tirado was arrested and charged with two counts of Trafficking Controlled Substances (fentanyl and methamphetamine), one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute (prescription pills), one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute (marijuana). Christian Yandel Flores was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Battery.

On 1/1/25 officers assigned to SPD’s Impact Team arrived at a residence in the 400 block of Catherine Avenue to investigate a drug complaint and attempt to locate a wanted person. Upon arriving, the officers were able to develop probable cause and obtain a search warrant for the premises. The subsequent search uncovered quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, prescription pills, and marijuana. Otis Yaniel Flores- Tirado (26, Catherine Avenue, Statesboro) was charged with two counts of Trafficking Controlled Substances (fentanyl and methamphetamine), one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute (prescription pills), one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute (marijuana). Christian Yandel Flores (24, Catherine Avenue, Statesboro) was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for Battery. Both were transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
