Statesboro PD Investigating Armed Robbery at Parker’s on Lanier Drive

Statesboro Police Department responded to the Parker’s gas station on Lanier Drive early Monday morning in reference to an armed robbery.

It was reported that an unknown black male came into the store and held people at gun point, while demanding money and items from the store. He then left the store on foot. Officers were unable to locate him in the immediate area.

This case has been assigned to Detective Ben Purvis with the Criminal Investigations Bureau. This case is still under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
