At the April Chattooga County Board of Education meeting Jorja Cooper was recognized for being selected as a state FFA Convention Ambassador for the Georgia FFA Foundation. Jorja, who is a senior at Chattooga High School, is the FFA Chapter President this year. She is also the 2019 CHS Salutatorian.
Her role will be escorting and promoting FFA to school administrators and foundation sponsors while at the State FFA Convention.
“This is truly a time for her to shine and show people from around our state what FFA is about and portray the kind of high quality students involved in our program,” Interim Superintendent Jared Hosmer said.
Jorja is the daughter of Charles and Donna Cooper.
