Andy Allen defeats Blake Elsberry for Chattooga County Sole Commissioner

Andy Allen has won the Republican Primary election to become the new sole commissioner of Chattooga County. 

He defeated incumbent Commissioner Blake Elsberry with 61% of the vote, receiving 2,268 votes to Elsberry’s 1,459.

Allen will take office on January 2, 2025. 

 

Allen and his wife Whitney reside on Little Sand Mountain in the Gore area of Chattooga County with their twins Jackson and Karsyn on their family farm, where Allen was raised and has lived for 46 years. The family owns and operates the Jackar Cattle Company. They are members of Little Sand Mountain Baptist Church.
