Those interested can find applications online at             https://www.habitatcoosavalley.org or pick them up at their office at 504 East First Ave, Rome, GA 30161.

Habitat for Humanity: Coosa Valley believes everyone should have a safe, decent, and affordable place to live. Habitat is committed to partnering with local families who demonstrate a need for housing, the ability to pay, and a willingness to partner through fulfilling “sweat equity” hours.

Information sessions will be offered to residents of Chattooga, Floyd, and Polk counties who are interested in applying for the Habitat program. The first information session will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, at the Chattooga County Civic Center at 44 Hwy 48 Summerville, GA. The second session will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, at the Rockmart City Hall at 316 N Piedmont Ave. Rockmart, GA, and the last session will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, at the Boys & Girls Club 211 East Main St. Rome, GA.

Attendance is not required for the informational sessions but is highly encouraged. To register, call the Habitat office at 706-378-0030.

Completed applications are due February 21, 2025.
