Kevin Godfrey, owner of Godfrey’s Tree Service and a familiar name in the local community, has launched a heartfelt GoFundMe campaign to support Jeremiah Love, a courageous young boy who has been fighting cancer since 2020.
Kevin recently lost his father, Charlie Godfrey, after a hard-fought, two-year battle with cancer. Known for his selflessness and deep love for his community, Charlie inspired Kevin to give back in a way that honors his legacy.
“My dad raised me to be the man I am today,” said Kevin. “He was a selfless man and a true friend. In his honor, I want to do something to help ease the burden for Jeremiah and his family. They’ve been in this fight for years, and I know what it means to have people rally around you when things get tough.”
Kevin has always gone above and beyond for the people of Chattooga County—whether through his business or his many community efforts—and this fundraiser is no exception.
