Rosson became a Chattooga County resident at the age of 13 when her father, James Baird, assumed the pastorate at Lyerly First Baptist Church. A 2000 Honor Graduate of Chattooga High School, she earned a Presidential Scholarship from Floyd College before transferring to Coosa Valley Technical College to complete her medical billing and coding degree. Although she once worked as a nationally certified medical coder, Meredith now serves as the Paralegal and Office Manager at the Law Offices, PC for Attorney Sanford “Buddy” Hill.

Married to Kevin Rosson and a devoted mother of nine children ranging from 12 to 28, Meredith’s commitment to her family and community shines through in all that she does. She and her family are active members of Menlo First Baptist Church, where she contributes as a member of the Praise Team and serves on the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team.

Expressing her vision for the party, Rosson stated, “I believe in the conservative Christian values that form the backbone of our community. I stand firmly for pro-life policies, the Second Amendment, and the belief that marriage is God’s design—a union between a man and a woman. While I may not always agree with every lifestyle choice, I strive to show love and respect just as Jesus taught us.”

Rosson’s faith is at the heart of her leadership. “If you do not attend church or are looking for a home church, I would like to invite you to come visit Menlo First Baptist, where all are welcome and loved,” she added. Her heartfelt invitation underscores her commitment to fostering community bonds and promoting values that unite rather than divide.

As the new Chairwoman of the Chattooga County Republican Party, Meredith Rosson brings a blend of personal conviction, professional experience, and a heartfelt commitment to her community. Her leadership promises to advance a vision that honors tradition, faith, and the enduring principles of conservative values in Chattooga County.
