Twisted Ankle Trail Race to Take Place September 11

 

The annual Twisted Ankle Trail Race held at Sloppy Floyd State Park is now open for signups. Two distances are available to race through the trails of the park, a 5k (3.1 miles) and a 10-mile race. The Friends of Sloppy Floyd State Park host the event each year that draws runners from all over the southeast and as far away as Colorado. Signing up online before September 1 will guarantee a shirt and goodie bag and is encouraged by race organizers by visiting twistedanklerace.com. 100% of the proceeds stay at Sloppy Floyd State Park.
