The Summerville 11 & 12 year-old Girls All-Stars won in the first round of the State Tournament tonight against Carrollton with a final score of 48-21.
Mikaya Parrish had an outstanding game scoring 16 points. Jenna Mosley had a few three pointers and added a total of 14 points. Tia Dunaway found the basket several times throughout the game and contributed 13 points.
Team members are Madison Hutchins, Sada Williamson, Makiya Parrish, Jenna Mosley, Justine Gladney, KeyMonica Wedgeworth, Nevaeh Morgan, Kayleigh Byars, Tia Dunaway, and Tyiana Scales.
The team is coached by Wayne Perry, Lisa Brooks and Chris Mosley. The Indians will take the court tomorrow at 10:15 against Calhoun.
