It was a huge night offensively for Austin Riley, who went 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBIs, two runs and a walk in Rome’s 5-3 win over Hickory Thursday night.
Mike Soroka picked up his sixth win of the season, going 7.1 innings. He gave up three runs on six hits, striking out four and walking only two batters. Jon Kennedy earned his second hold, throwing a scoreless two-thirds of an inning, and Josh Graham got his sixth save of the season.
Ray-Patrick Didder also had a run and an RBI in the game. Rome’s other RBI came from Jonathan Morales in an 11-hit, error-less night for the Braves.
