Trion Cross Country Advances to State Competition

Trion’s Cross country teams both the Boys and Girls placed 3rd at the region and will advance to State Competition in Carrollton. Austin Mason placed 5th individually with a time of 19:19.  Hannah Dong placed 4th with a time of 23:40.  “Our runners had the best day of the year and have improved steadily through October,” Coach John Chance said.

The State Championship run will be at Carrollton on Sat Nov 3. Boys run at 2:00 girls at 2:45.  “I am pleased with the run yesterday and look forward to taking both teams into state competition,” Chance said.
