One arrested, One Wanted in TMT Farms Christmas Light Vandalism

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday morning that an arrest has been made in the investigation at Thompson Farms from the Christmas lights display.

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has issued
warrants and made an arrest in the CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY case
involving the destruction of property at the THOMPSON FARMS Christmas
lights and decorations located on Old River Road in Bulloch County, Ga. On
December 26, 2017, Mr. Roy Thompson visited the Sheriff’s office to file a
criminal complaint after finding approximately $2500 worth of Christmas
decorations damaged and destroyed. During the investigation several
individuals were identified as being on the property during the time of the
destruction, but it was determined that all did not participate in the damaging of
the property. Warrants have been issued for CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO
PROPERTY in the 2nd DEGREE for the arrest of AUTUMN EVANS (17 years
old from Chatham County, Ga.) and ZACARY SMITH (20 years old from
Liberty County, Ga.) EVANS was arrested and has since bonded on the charge.
Bulloch County Investigators are still in search of ZACHARY SMITH. Anyone
with information of his whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Williams Simsat (912) 764-1767.
