WHAT WERE THE OPTIONS FOR MAVIS TIRE IN BUFORD IN DISPOSING OF THESE TIRES? WERE THEY HOLDING THESE TIRES FOR PICK-UP (TO BE USED IN ROAD MILLING / TOPPING PAVEMENT ) ? WERE THEY HOLDING FOR RECYCLING? THERE IS ALWAYS MORE THAN TOLD TO THESE STORIES AND GEORGIA BUSINESSES HAVE FEW OPTIONS IN DISPOSING OF CERTAIN MATERIALS WHILE STAYING WITHIN THE FEDERAL , STATE AND COUNTY LAWS FOR DISPOSAL. GEORGIA MUST STAND BESIDE GEORGIA BUSINESSES AND HELP PROVIDE VIABLE OPTIONS TO THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE MATERIALS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED.

THEN A DECENT SET OF TIRES WOULD COST $2,000. I GET FURIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO TIRES…THERE IS SO MANY USEFUL USES FOR RECYCLED TIRES…AND GOVERNMENT -FEDERAL, STATE & COUNTRY – WANT TO TREAT ANYONE WITH A TIRE IN THEIR YARD LIKE CRIMINALS…USED TRACTOR TIRES MAKE GREAT ABOVE GROUND GARDENS FOR VEGGIES, HERBS, ASPARAGUS AND FLOWERS. SAFE JUNGLE GYMS FOR CHILDREN & TODDLER’S OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES CAN BE MADE OF USED TIRES FOR YEARS OF ACTIVITY! USED TIRES PLACED ON POSTS MAKE GREAT RETAINING WALLS FOR ERODING HILLS AND RUN-OFF SITES. USED TIRES CAN BE PLACED ON POSTS & PAINTED TO MAKE GREAT PRIVACY FENCES. USED TIRES CAN BE REMOLDED TO MAKE SAFE WALK-WAYS AND SIDE WALKS (ESP. IN WET/MOIST AREAS). WE HAVE A COMPANY IN DALTON THAT REMOLDS TIRES AND SHAPES THEM INTO FLAT ROCK OR ANIMAL DESIGNS TO PLACE IN YARDS FOR WALK WAYS OR GROUND COVERING. AND, BEST OF ALL, RECYCLED TIRES CAN BE USED IN HIGHWAY PAVING MATERIAL – MILLINGS – THAT LASTS FOR YEARS AND IS RESISTANT TO WEATHER / CLIMATE / HEAT CHANGES. WHY ISN’T FEDERAL / STATE / COUNTY TRANSPORTATION / ROADS DEPARTMENTS HAVING DROP-OFF STATIONS FOR FREE TIRES?
