The GBI has arrested and charged Edvardo P. Johnson, age 32, of Oglethorpe, GA, with two counts of Cruelty to Children, two counts of Reckless Conduct, and two counts of Furnishing Alcohol to a Person Under the Age of 21. On Tuesday May 6th, the Montezuma Police Department and the Macon County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to assist with a child abuse investigation.
The investigation shows that Johnson forced two female minors to drink alcohol until they became sick. The minors told their parents what happened which led to a forensic interview.
Johnson was booked into the Sumter County Jail who houses inmates for Macon County.
