Griffith’s 23 field goals for the Crimson Tide are tied for 6th most by returning Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) kickers. A record-setting five of those kicks came against rival Auburn, which was the most field goals ever in an Iron Bowl matchup. He added two point after scores in last season’s game, totaling 17 points, which was the second-highest single-game total in Alabama football history.

The Lou Groza Award winner will be announced after the end of the regular college football season.
