Charleston beats Rome 2-0, completes series sweep
The Braves just couldn’t find a way to move runners across the plate Thursday night, as Charleston completes a three-game sweep of Rome in a 2-0 win for the Riverdogs. Rome managed seven hits in the game, but starter Mike Soroka allowed two runs to Charleston in his six innings of work, picking up the loss despite a solid outing. The two runs came on eight hits, as Soroka stuck out four batters, and walked none. Grayson Jones and Devan Watts each provided an inning of shutout relief.
