Rome Braves have more hits, but lose 4-3 to Hickory

Despite racking up eight hits to Hickory’s five, the Rome Braves couldn’t translate base runners into runs on Friday night, falling to the Crawdads 4-3.

The Braves held a tie, then a lead in the game through their half of the eights innings, but the bullpen allowed the tying run in the bottom half, then another run got through in the ninth for a Hickory win.
