Rome edges out Hickory 3-2, clinches series

The Rome Braves won the game, and clinched the series with the Hickory Crawdads in a morning game with Hickory on Wednesday.

A solid start from Rome’s Ricardo Sanchez kept the game within reach for an eventual 3-2 win.  Sanchez gave up two runs in the bottom of the second, but that would be it.  A big offensive fourth inning from the Braves put the game away.
