Toussaint takes loss as Augusta shuts out Rome 4-0 at home
The Rome Braves just couldn’t get any offensive momentum Saturday night in front of a home crowd of 3,890 at State Mutual Stadium. Rome’s offense was held to just four hits, as the Braves lost to the Greenjackets 4-0. Shea Simmons worked an inning Saturday, giving up no hits, no runs, and earning a strikeout. Touki Toussaint gave up three runs on five hits, and posted three strikeouts in his six innings of work, taking the loss for the Braves.
