BLUE RIBBON, LIVESTOCK, HONEY SHOW at the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair
When you are visiting the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair please take the time to check out the Livestock Department, where local and regional 4-H and FFA participants will be exhibiting their livestock projects on each day of the fair. Show times, rules and entry forms are available below.Â
The Blue Ribbon Department is where the best tomatoes, finest flowers and inspiring paintings will be submitted.Â
BLUE RIBBON
Chattooga County residents and those in our surrounding counties of Floyd, Gordon, Walker, Dade, and DeKalb and Cherokee Alabama, are invited to show off their skills in the Blue Ribbon Department at the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair!
There are up to 5 divisions including Youth, Open, Professional and Golden Age, depending on the category selected. PLEASE READ ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS CAREFULLY. There are specific guidelines for each department.

Monday, August 21
Receiving 2:00pm – 6:00pm for the following categories: Arts, Photography, Needlework, Food Preservation
Tuesday, August 22
Receiving 9:00am-1:00pm for the following categories: Arts, Photography, Needlework, Food Preservation
Wednesday, August 23
Judging 9:00am-12:00pm for Arts, Photography and Neeedlework

Receiving 1:00pm-6:00pm for the following categories: Horticulture, Agriculture, Honey

Judging 6:00pm for Honey
Thursday, August 24
Receiving 8:00am-10:00am for the following categories: Horticulture same day blooms ONLY

General Rules for Blue Ribbon Contest
Canned foods including jams, jellies, and salsas.
Includes cut flowers, herbs, container plantings, and a category for fairy gardens!
Paintings, drawings, pottery, and sculptures.
Black and white or color, in four different categories.
Crochet, knitting and quilts!
Enter your prize garden tomato, pepper or melon!
