Students from Mrs. Christy Dixon’s 4th grade science classes at Reidsville Elementary School were recognized by the Tattnall County Board of Education at the March meeting on Monday.
Dixon was introduced by Reidsville Elementary School principal Dr. Tina Debevec ahead of the presentations on animal research projects.
Dixon told School Board members that students were asked to choose an animal, research that animal, and write a paper about their habitat, diet, and any other interesting facts. Students were then asked to create a visual project – like a diorama, a tri-fold, a poster, or a powerpoint. A handful were selected to present to the Board Monday.
